Don't want to read the full rules? Just want to jump in and get going? This is the page for you!
Go to the Sign Up page and fill out the form to be put onto the ladder list.
Once on the list, you can challenge a player up to 3 spots higher than your placement (top 3 players can also challenge 3 spots below them to ensure they can setup matches as well): to challenge a player email (or call) the player and indicate that you are challenging along suggested days/times over the next week that you can play. See Complete Rules for details on scheduling.
If the player doesn't respond in 2 days, contact a Coordinator and let them know of the non-response. You will be moved up the ladder in this case so you will have additional players to challenge.
If you are challenged, respond to the challenge accepting one of the suggested start times and reserve the Tributary courts during that period. If you are unable to play during any of the suggested times (or if the courts are unavailable), suggest several alternate times/days that you can make. If the challenger cannot make any of those (or if the courts are unavailable), the challenge is nullified and there is no reason to notify the Coordinator (i.e. nobody moves).
Play the match at the agreed upon day/time -- Challenger supplies the balls. Best of 3 sets wins. No-show or cancellation after a day/time is agreed upon counts as a forfeit.
After playing the match, the winning player must log their match on the Enter Scores page. If the lower ranked player won, a Coordinator will move the player one spot above the losing player.
Neither player can attempt to schedule a rematch with the same opponent for at least 1 week (of course, they can schedule matches with other players in the ladder during that time).
Any other questions -- review the Complete Rules or Contact a Coordinator.
